Holambra hosts major floral business fairs and cultural festivals

Holambra is hosting major horticultural events focused on industry trends and cultural celebrations. The 32nd Veiling Market, organized by Cooperativa Veiling Holambra, features 166 producers showcasing ornamental flowers and plants for the second half of the year, specifically targeting seasons such as Spring, Christmas, and New Year.

The event serves as a business hub for anticipating market trends in colors, formats, and consumer behavior for the landscaping and retail sectors. It is inspired by the Trade Fair Aalsmeer in the Netherlands.

Simultaneously, the 43rd edition of Expoflora is underway, themed ‘Tradition and Origins: a living painting made with flowers’. The festival expects approximately 280,000 visitors over its programming. Highlights include the new Beleven windmill, a 9.5-meter structure reflecting Dutch heritage, and extensive floral arrangements featuring over 200,000 stems and 75,000 pots. Featured species include Banksias, garden mini-roses, and various variegated foliage.
