Holbæk Court to rule on cocaine smuggling case

The Holbæk Court is set to rule on whether a mother and grandmother are guilty of smuggling 67 kilograms of cocaine from Germany. The two women, aged 24 and 46, are accused of transporting the narcotics across the border in two separate instances during 2025.

During the alleged smuggling attempts, the women's children were reportedly seated in the back of the vehicle while the cocaine was hidden in a compartment at the bottom of the car. The 24-year-old has admitted to transporting drugs on one occasion, while the 46-year-old denies the charges. A jury court will decide on the guilt of the 46-year-old this Monday, with a sentence to be handed down if she is found guilty. The 24-year-old must undergo a mental evaluation before her case can be concluded.
