Holcim Maroc reports 8% drop in H1 2026 profits

Holcim Maroc reported an 8.1% decrease in consolidated net profit for the first half of 2026, reaching 843 MDH. This decline from the same period in 2025 was accompanied by a 5.2% drop in current operating income, which stood at 1,655 MDH.

The company attributed the results to fluctuating sales volumes and rising fuel prices, though these were partially offset by production cost management and industrial performance. While the domestic cement market saw a 1.3% decline in the first half of the year—largely due to heavy rainfall in the first quarter—the second quarter showed signs of market dynamism.

Looking ahead, Holcim Maroc maintains a positive outlook for the second half of the year. Growth is expected to be supported by infrastructure investments related to the 2030 World Cup preparations, major announced investment projects, and ongoing direct housing assistance programs in the building segment.
