Holiday Inn Express security altercation with influencer Ray Monsiváis

Content creator Ray Monsiváis reported an altercation with security personnel at the Holiday Inn Express Sendero in Escobedo, Nuevo León. While filming a review of the recently inaugurated hotel, which is part of the Canadá City Center project, Monsiváis was approached by a guard who attempted to prevent him from recording the building's facade from the public sidewalk.

The situation escalated when Monsiváis alleged the guard grabbed him by the arm. A security supervisor later intervened, stating that authorization is required to film the hotel due to potential liability concerns regarding construction workers on-site. Although security staff eventually offered an apology, Monsiváis stated the incident negatively impacted his opinion of the establishment.

The incident, captured on video, has since gone viral. Following the footage's release, social media users have expressed support for the influencer and left negative reviews for the hotel on Google.
