Holiday traditions and community recipe submissions

The University of Hawaiʻi has announced the return of its annual holiday feature, inviting faculty, staff, and students to submit favorite recipes and the stories behind them. Selected submissions will be spotlighted in UH News throughout November and December 2026 to celebrate the diverse traditions of the university community.

In a separate seasonal trend, families in the United States are increasingly adopting puzzle nights as a holiday tradition. Suggestions for establishing this practice include setting a consistent annual date, preparing a dedicated workspace with proper lighting, and using sorting trays to facilitate a collaborative environment.
