Holiday travel destinations highlighted in the United States and Portugal

Various locations are preparing for the upcoming holiday season, offering diverse festive experiences. In the United States, New York City remains a premier destination featuring the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree, Fifth Avenue window displays, and ice skating at Bryant Park’s Winter Village. Leavenworth, Washington, is noted for its Bavarian-inspired architecture and mountain setting, which undergoes extensive seasonal decorations.

In northern Portugal, the municipality of Vizela has announced its “Vizela Cidade Natal 2026” program. The city plans to implement extensive street lighting starting November 28, alongside attractions such as a giant Ferris wheel, an ice rink, a Parisian carousel, and a Christmas market. The festivities will also include musical performances, a Santa Claus house, and various community spectacles.
