Holiday travel management intensifies at Guanyin Waterfall and Jialing River

During the holiday period, heavy crowds and vehicle congestion have been reported at Guanyin Waterfall in Puli, Nantou. The Puli Police Division has deployed personnel to manage traffic flow and guide vehicles at key intersections to maintain safety and prevent illegal parking or U-turns on the narrow access roads.

In Chongqing, transportation law enforcement authorities have launched a special campaign to ensure water safety on the Jialing River ahead of the National Day holiday. The initiative involves multi-departmental patrols targeting high-risk activities such as swimming, paddleboarding, and motorboating in navigation channels. Authorities are using drones and public reports to crack down on behaviors that interfere with vessel navigation, including unauthorized drone flights and the climbing of navigation markers.
