Holiday World & Splashin' Safari adds extended summer hours in Indiana

Holiday World & Splashin' Safari announced that the park will operate later on three Saturdays in the 2026 summer season. On July 18, July 25 and August 1 the park will be open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., while the water park Splashin' Safari will run from 11 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. “We’re in the middle of a fantastic season,” said Leah Koch‑Blumhardt, director of communications and fourth‑generation owner, noting the added time for shows, food and the park’s “legendary night rides.”

The extended schedule coincides with ongoing promotion of the upcoming Cannonball! water roller coaster slated for May 2027 and a lineup of summer events, including the nightly “Holidays in the Sky” drone and fireworks spectacular through August 3, the Summer Wine’d Down Culinary Festival beginning August 4, Friday Night Live on August 21, and the longest‑ever Happy Halloween Weekends starting September 19.
