Holland America Line launches 2027‑28 Caribbean season with longer port stays and ship upgrades

Holland America Line announced its 2027‑2028 Caribbean season, offering 29 itineraries across 47 departures that will visit 35 ports in 25 countries and territories. The line highlighted longer port visits, with most sailings including a stop at its private island, Half Moon Cay in the Bahamas, where a new beach club, upgraded dining venues and enhanced facilities will be introduced.

The season will debut the reimagined Oosterdam, the first ship upgraded under the company’s $500 million Evolution program, featuring Solo Verandah staterooms, Bridgeview Suites, Vista Suites and the Grand Dutch Café. A 28‑day Pan Am 100th Anniversary Legendary Voyage aboard the Zuiderdam will trace historic airline routes across the Caribbean, Mexico and Latin America.

In addition to Caribbean sailings, Holland America is expanding its Norway itineraries for 2027, adding calls to Flåm and Hellesylt on five Rotterdam cruises to give travelers access to UNESCO‑listed fjords such as Nærøyfjord and Storfjorden. The line also introduced a limited‑time deposit offer of AU$99 for over 800 cruises booked in July 2026, aimed at Australian and New Zealand travellers.
