Holland America Line expands Europe cruise season for 2028

Holland America Line announced its 2028 Europe cruise season, adding the highest number of European port calls in nearly a decade. The program covers Northern Europe, the Mediterranean, the Canary Islands and trans‑Atlantic crossings, with year‑round departures from January through early December.

The line will visit record numbers of ports in Norway, Spain, Ireland and the Netherlands and will offer guests access to more than 200 UNESCO World Heritage sites, including the fjords of Norway. Five ships – Rotterdam, Nieuw Statendam, Nieuw Amsterdam, Volendam and Zuiderdam – will operate itineraries ranging from seven‑day getaways to 48‑day Legendary Voyages, with extended stays, overnight calls and late‑night departures to allow deeper exploration of historic capitals, fjord communities and sun‑soaked Mediterranean coasts.
