Holland America Line Launches Year‑Round Europe Cruises for 2027‑2028
Holland America Line is adding a permanent European presence for the 2027‑2028 season, keeping the Nieuw Statendam on the continent year‑round and adding extra voyages on the Zuiderdam. The expanded programme adds more than 70 off‑season port days, offering travelers winter and early‑spring itineraries across the Baltic, Scandinavia, the Mediterranean and the Canary Islands.
The line’s holiday sailings feature overnight stays in festive markets such as Stockholm, Helsinki, Hamburg and Copenhagen, plus optional trips to Lapland. Spring routes shift to milder Mediterranean ports—including Valencia, Marseille, Livorno, Naples and Greek islands—allowing longer shore excursions and a quieter travel pace.
