Holland Park Leisure fined £150,000 for self-exclusion failures
Holland Park Leisure has been fined £150,000 by the Gambling Commission for failing to comply with mandatory multi-operator self-exclusion requirements. The operator, which runs three Adult Gaming Centres in Leicester and Coalville, breached social responsibility codes designed to protect customers who wish to stop gambling.
The regulator noted that the company had been previously warned about its noncompliance but failed to take remedial action and provided misleading information to the Commission. Following a license review that led to a suspension in October 2025, the company took corrective measures.
In addition to the financial penalty, Holland Park Leisure must undergo an independent third-party audit. This audit will evaluate the company’s policies, procedures, controls, and staff training to ensure player safeguards are effectively implemented.
