Holle: 19-year-old seriously injured in single-vehicle crash

A 19-year-old driver was seriously injured following a car accident on the K 305 road between Holle and Baddeckenstedt in Lower Saxony. The incident occurred on October 1, 2026, at approximately 5:15 p.m.

According to investigators, the driver lost control of a Mazda due to inappropriate speed on wet, rainy roads, causing the vehicle to strike a tree. The car sustained heavy damage and ended up in a roadside ditch. Emergency responders had to extricate the driver from the wreckage. He was transported to a hospital in Braunschweig with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

The K 305 was closed in both directions for approximately one hour to facilitate the rescue and vehicle recovery, though no major traffic disruptions were reported.
