Hollyoaks: Leah Barnes hospitalized after confrontation with Lucas Hay

In the British soap opera Hollyoaks, a confrontation between Leah Barnes and Lucas Hay results in Leah being hospitalized after falling down a flight of stairs. The incident occurs amidst an ongoing investigation into the disappearance of Ste Hay, who vanished while visiting a shopping centre.

James Nightingale has been a primary suspect in Ste's disappearance, though he maintains he is being framed. During a tense standoff, Leah overhears Lucas making a confession regarding his guilt. When she confronts him, the ensuing struggle leads to her accident. Following the fall, Lucas flees the scene and seeks help from a friend to leave the village, while Leah is left unconscious before being attended to by Misbah Maalik and Gemma Johnson.
