Hollywood actors face alleged blacklist over Palestinian activism

Reports have emerged regarding a potential blacklist within the film industry, allegedly compiled by leaders at Paramount and Skydance. The list reportedly targets high-profile figures who have spoken out against film companies supporting Israel or have engaged in activism for Palestine.

Celebrities identified as potentially being on this list include Javier Bardem, Mark Ruffalo, Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Susan Sarandon, Joaquin Phoenix, Tilda Swinton, and Elliott Page. Bardem has acknowledged the existence of professional fear regarding such stances, stating he is willing to assume the consequences of his convictions.

The controversy follows industry shifts, including the acquisition of Warner Bros. and the consolidation of Skydance. Skydance CEO David Ellison has previously expressed solidarity with Israel through corporate statements. Additionally, Paramount recently issued a stance against an open letter calling for a boycott of Israeli film institutions.
