Hollywood Smothers upgraded to probable for Texas ahead of Tennessee game

SEC injury report college football Texas Longhorns Tennessee Volunteers Hollywood Smothers

Texas running back Hollywood Smothers has been upgraded to “probable” on the SEC injury report ahead of the upcoming game against Tennessee. Smothers, who has been dealing with a lower-body injury, was previously listed as “questionable” earlier in the week. While he did not practice on Thursday, his improved status suggests he is closer to playing, though he remains a potential game-time decision.

In other SEC news, Ole Miss running back Kewan Lacy has been downgraded to “doubtful” for the Rebels' matchup against Florida. Lacy, who was injured during a Week 3 victory over LSU, was previously listed as questionable.
