Hollywood Walk of Fame Announces Filipino‑American Stars Nicole Scherzinger and Jo Koy for 2027 Class

The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce announced on July 23 that Nicole Scherzinger and comedian Jo Koy will receive stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in the 2027 class. Both entertainers were selected in the Live Theatre/Live Performance category, joining Italian ballet dancer Roberto Bolle and a roster of other honorees that includes Pedro Pascal, Lisa Kudrow, and Lil Wayne.

Scherzinger, born in Honolulu and of Filipino descent, is a Tony Award‑winning performer best known as the former lead singer of the Pussycat Dolls. Jo Koy, whose mother is Filipina, is a Filipino‑American stand‑up comic with a career spanning specials, tours, acting and producing. Their selections follow the inclusion of fellow Filipino‑American Lea Salonga in the 2026 class. Ceremony dates have not yet been set.
