hololive Dreams mobile game launches, hits #1 on Japan’s Google Play charts
Cover Corp and QualiArts released their first official hololive mobile game, hololive Dreams, on July 23. The free-to-download title is available for iOS, Android and Steam and combines rhythm‑game mechanics with an RPG‑style theme‑park builder set on a floating island. Players can build facilities for 54 hololive talents, collect high‑rarity characters through a gacha system, and take part in launch‑period campaigns such as a 15‑day, 25‑song addition event, a pre‑registration reward for the 1.5 million users who signed up, and a login‑bonus that grants 2,500 red diamonds.
Within days of release, hololive Dreams surged to the top of Google Play’s sales ranking in Japan, moving from fifth place on its debut day (July 24) to #1 on July 25 and maintaining the lead through the following week. To celebrate the #1 spot across both the App Store and Google Play, the developers distributed a red‑diamond package to players. The game’s strong performance was noted alongside the Korean‑origin title VAMPIR, which entered the top‑30 at #29.
The launch marks hololive’s expansion from live‑streaming into the mobile gaming market, leveraging its large virtual‑talent fan base and attracting significant early commercial success.
