Hololive VTuber Mori Calliope joins Desktop Mate via new DLC

Infinite Loop Co., Ltd. has released a new downloadable content (DLC) for the desktop mascot platform ‘Desktop Mate,’ featuring Hololive VTuber Mori Calliope. Released on October 29, 2026, via Steam, this marks the first time a Hololive talent has been featured on the platform.

The DLC includes a newly developed 3D model supervised by Cover Corp. The character features various animations, such as posing with a scythe, drinking wine, and reacting to user interactions like petting or poking. The content also supports a multi-character function, allowing users to display two characters on their desktop simultaneously, though this is currently unavailable in the macOS open beta.

Mori Calliope provides all voice lines for the DLC, which are recorded in both Japanese and English. Users can switch between languages through the settings menu.
