Holstin horror game set for 2027 release on consoles and PC

The psychological survival horror game Holstin, developed by Sonka and published by Team17, is scheduled for release in 2027. The title will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam, GOG, and the Microsoft Store.

Announced during Gamescom 2026, the game features day-one availability on Xbox Game Pass. Set in the Polish town of Jeziorne-Kolonia during the 1990s, the story follows Tomasz Wolanski as he searches for a missing investigative journalist.

The game utilizes proprietary 2XD Renderings technology, which allows for dynamic camera rotation across eight different angles. This enables various gameplay perspectives, including isometric exploration, third-person combat, first-person driving sequences, and side-scrolling platforming sections, all presented in a pixel art style with real-time dynamic lighting.
