Holy Metropolis of Kترة launches Social Tutoring Center lessons

The Holy Metropolis of Kترة, Katerini, and Platamona held a blessing ceremony at the Barnaveio Library for the commencement of the Social Tutoring Center's lessons. The event was led by Metropolitan Georgios and attended by students, educators, and church partners.

The center provides free educational support for students from middle school through high school, specifically targeting those from families with limited financial resources. The program aims to assist students with difficult subjects and prepare high school seniors for the Panhellenic Examinations.

Managed by Archimandrite Dionysios Kollias and a team of volunteer educators, the program has seen recent success, with participating students securing placements in Greek universities this past summer. The initiative serves as a practical expression of the Metropolis's social ministry by providing equal educational opportunities.
