Holy Metropolis of Kition participates in Katerini Commercial Festival

The Holy Metropolis of Kition, Katerini, and Platamon successfully concluded its participation in the Katerini Commercial Festival on August 30. Through its dedicated pavilion, the Metropolis showcased its diverse philanthropic, social, pastoral, and cultural initiatives serving the Pieria region.

Visitors were presented with information regarding the Church's ongoing community support, including the operation of the Ecclesiastical Nursing Home, the ‘Artos o Epiousios’ daily communal meals which support hundreds of citizens, and the Social Pantry. The Metropolis also highlighted the activities of its Youth Office and efforts to preserve religious and ecclesiastical heritage.

A significant focus of the presentation was the promotion of pilgrimage tours within Pieria, specifically highlighting the route of the Apostle Paul. These tours aim to combine faith, history, and culture by showcasing sites connected to the Apostle of the Nations.
