Holzmann Medien celebrates 90 years of publishing

Holzmann Medien, a prominent German publishing house, celebrated its 90th anniversary with a summer festival for its employees at Skyline Park near Bad Wörishofen.

Publisher Alexander Holzmann used the event to reflect on nine decades of company history and express gratitude to the workforce. He noted that the company's success is a direct result of employee engagement and set a goal for the organization to reach its 100-year milestone in the next decade.

Founded in Berlin in 1936 by Hans Holzmann and based in Bad Wörishofen since 1945, the family-owned business is among the 50 largest specialist publishers in Germany. The company employs approximately 170 people and generates an annual turnover of around 25 million euros. Its portfolio includes various titles such as Deutsche HandwerksZeitung, handwerk magazin, and the magazine rationell reinigen, as well as audio content via Handwerker Radio.
