Home Bargains accepts American Express in UK stores and online

UK discount retailer Home Bargains has signed an agreement with American Express to accept the payment method both in-person at its 650-plus stores and through its online platform.

Home Bargains, a large privately-owned company founded in Liverpool, specializes in value pricing for household goods, health and beauty products, toys, and food. The retailer noted that the addition of American Express aims to provide customers with more flexibility and convenience.

American Express stated that the agreement reinforces its merchant coverage in the UK, which has tripled since 2021. The rollout will be supported by digital marketing, social media activity, and targeted communications to cardmembers.
