Home Bargains recalls Toy Story water bottles and Lay's crisps over safety hazards

The UK Office for Product Safety and Standards (OPSS) has issued a safety recall for the Toy Story‑themed water bottle sold by Home Bargains after a choking risk was identified. The spout can detach from the lid, creating a small part that could block a child’s airway. Affected batch codes are 11449732, 11449736‑44. Shoppers are advised to stop using the bottle immediately, keep it out of reach of children and return it to any Home Bargains store for a full refund.

Separately, the Food Standards Agency (FSA) has recalled 125 g packets of Lay's Sour Cream & Dill crisps sold at Home Bargains because the packaging failed to declare the presence of milk and wheat, posing a health risk to consumers with dairy or gluten allergies. The recall covers products with best‑before dates up to 31 October. Consumers are urged not to eat the crisps and to return them for a refund.
