Home Bargains to close all UK stores on Christmas, Boxing Day and New Year's Day

Home Bargains has confirmed that all 617 of its UK branches will close on three major holiday dates: Christmas Day (December 25), Boxing Day (December 26), and New Year's Day (January 1).

The retailer's decision to remain closed during these peak shopping periods, including Boxing Day when many competitors launch sales, is intended to support its staff. A company spokesperson stated the move reflects a “family-run ethos” and aims to recognize the hard work of employees by providing extra time off to spend with family and friends.

Closures will affect various locations across the United Kingdom, including multiple branches in North Wales, Cheshire, and Warrington. Customers are advised to check specific local branch hours for other festive dates.
