Home Depot CEO Ted Decker takes temporary medical leave
Home Depot CEO Ted Decker is taking a temporary medical leave of absence and is expected to return within a few months. The company has activated its succession plan to ensure operational continuity during his absence.
Ann-Marie Campbell, a senior executive vice president, will oversee daily operations, while Chief Financial Officer Richard McPhail will manage financial matters and professional customer segments. Lead director Greg Brenneman will assume the chairmanship of the board to strengthen institutional oversight.
These interim appointments were made in alignment with Decker’s recommendations. The company is scheduled to report its quarterly results on August 18.
