Home Depot Highlights Dividend Growth Amid Organizational Restructuring
Home Depot Inc. continues to reward shareholders with steady dividend growth, raising its quarterly payout to $2.25 per share and maintaining a 2.3% yield and a roughly 55% payout ratio. The dividend has been increased for more than 15 consecutive years, reflecting confidence in free‑cash‑flow generation despite softness in the residential housing market.
The retailer announced a major organizational restructuring aimed at strengthening its core business and expanding the professional‑customer segment. Under CEO Ted Decker, Home Depot is merging key functions across merchandising, customer loyalty, finance, the Pro business and technology. Billy Bastek will lead the integrated merchandising unit, Jordan Broggi heads the new Connected Retail group, Richard McPhail heads the Office of Pro Acceleration, and Fran Bell, the EVP and CTO, will oversee AI, data science and technology across stores and supply chain. The changes are intended to improve product alignment, customer experience and coordination among Home Depot Pro, HD Supply, SRS and Construction Resources.
