Home Depot launches nationwide express delivery service

The Home Depot has launched a nationwide express delivery service in the United States, promising fulfillment of eligible orders in three hours or less. The program utilizes the company’s supply chain network and more than 2,000 U.S. stores acting as fulfillment hubs.

Customers can access the service for a flat fee without requiring a subscription or membership. In most major markets, the fee is $7, while Los Angeles customers will pay a $10 flat fee. Eligible items include thousands of SKUs such as tools, paint, hardware, and plumbing supplies. Customers can identify eligible products directly on product pages or within the shopping cart.

Company executives noted that many deliveries are currently occurring in less than one hour. This initiative is part of a broader effort to maximize supply chain capabilities; the retailer reported cutting delivery lead times in the U.S. by 45% over the previous 18 months.
