Home heating efficiency through maintenance and infrared technology

Home heating efficiency can be improved through both traditional maintenance and the adoption of modern technologies. For existing radiator systems, bleeding trapped air is a quick way to ensure even heat distribution and prevent uneven warming. Additionally, using smart thermostats or thermostatic radiator valves allows for more precise temperature control, which can significantly reduce energy consumption by heating only necessary areas or adjusting temperatures during the night.

As an alternative to traditional convection-based radiators, infrared heating panels are gaining popularity. Unlike radiators that heat the air, infrared panels emit radiation that directly warms objects, walls, and people within a room. These panels offer versatile installation options, including ceiling mounting, which saves wall space and prevents furniture from blocking heat distribution. They can be integrated into home decor using various materials like glass, ceramic, or mirror finishes and can be managed via zone-based smart controls.
