Home organization trends focus on space-saving laundry solutions

New home organization products and testing results highlight efficient laundry and drying solutions for small living spaces.

British design brand Joseph Joseph has introduced the AirFrame three-tier vertical folding drying rack, which occupies only 10cm of thickness when collapsed. Designed to maximize vertical space, the rack features a patented one-click opening mechanism and can support up to 15kg. The brand also launched the Extend drainer series, a modular, expandable system for kitchen sinks designed to reduce clutter.

In a separate evaluation, the Japanese publication LDK tested 11 different laundry drying products, including pillow racks, shoe racks, quick-dry hangers, seven-link hangers, and multi-clip hangers. Six products received an A-grade rating. The CAINZ shoe hanger, which can be used both hanging or standing, was named ‘Best Buy’ for its versatility and storage convenience. Other top-rated items included multi-clip hangers from Nafco and Komeri, as well as specific quick-dry hangers from CAINZ.
