HomeRun secures $12 million Series A+ funding led by Nexus Venture Partners

Bengaluru‑based construction‑materials quick‑commerce startup HomeRun has closed a $12 million Series A+ funding round led by venture‑capital firm Nexus Venture Partners. Existing investors Sorin Investments, Titan Capital, Sparrow Capital and Consumer Collective by Atrium also participated, following a $6.6 million raise earlier in the year.

The capital will be used to expand HomeRun’s geographic reach, strengthen its supply‑chain and technology infrastructure, and broaden its product portfolio. Founder and CEO Pukhraj Grewal, who previously co‑founded interior‑contracting startup Tornado and labour‑marketplace Project Hero, said the funding will help formalise the fragmented building‑material procurement market in India.

HomeRun now delivers cement, plywood, paints, hardware and other building supplies to contractors and homeowners within 60 minutes, having fulfilled more than 100,000 orders and recorded eight‑fold growth over the past twelve months, making it the largest retailer of its kind in Bengaluru.
