Homey integrates Ledvance Smart+ and Osram Smart+

The smart home platform Homey has introduced official integrations for Ledvance Smart+ and Osram Smart+. These new additions allow users to connect various devices, including lights, switches, sockets, and LED strips, to the Homey ecosystem.

Through these integrations, users can control devices via Homey Flows to perform actions such as switching power on or off, dimming, and adjusting color or color temperature. Additionally, smart sockets equipped with energy measurement capabilities can transmit consumption data to Homey, enabling automation based on electricity usage.

The LEDVANCE SMART+ and OSRAM SMART+ apps are available for free in the Homey App Store. While Homey Pro and Homey Pro mini users can connect Zigbee and Matter devices natively, users of the Homey Cloud or Homey Self-Hosted Server will require a Homey Bridge for Zigbee devices or a Thread Border Router for Thread-based Matter devices.
