Homey Smart Home Platform Secures Matter 1.5 Certification

Athom's Homey platform has earned Matter 1.5 certification from the Connectivity Standards Alliance (CSA). The certification, issued on June 29 2026 (certificate ID CSA26025SWC60263‑M1), covers Homey Pro, Homey Pro mini and the Homey Self‑Hosted Server.

Matter 1.5 adds support for new device categories such as EV chargers, heat pumps, solar panels and major appliances. Through Homey's Matter Bridge app, devices already connected to Homey can be exposed to Apple Home, Google Home, Amazon Alexa, Samsung SmartThings and Home Assistant as standard Matter accessories, while Homey continues to control them. Homey Pro and Pro mini also include built‑in Thread Border Routers for Matter‑over‑Thread devices.

The update is available immediately, enabling Homey users to take advantage of the latest Matter features across multiple smart‑home ecosystems.
