Homs launches Jadat al-Nasr urban development project

The Homs Governorate has launched the ‘Jadat al-Nasr’ (Victory Avenue) development project, a large-scale mixed-use urban initiative located in the center of Homs, Syria. The project aims to support the city's economic and urban recovery following years of conflict.

The development is expected to include approximately 2,500 residential, commercial, administrative, and hotel units. Construction plans cover about 500,000 square meters of above-ground buildings and 250,000 square meters of underground parking capable of accommodating 5,000 vehicles. Additionally, the project features a public park spanning roughly 350,000 square meters.

Al-Omran Holding Company is tasked with executing the project, while Hesco Engineering is responsible for planning and design. The works will be completed in three stages over a period of three, five, and seven years. Officials estimate the project will create between 8,000 and 10,000 jobs, with priority given to local residents and the use of local raw materials.
