Honbo Shuzo announces limited Single Malt Komagatake Peated × Sherry

Honbo Shuzo has announced the launch of its first limited edition series for Single Malt Komagatake, titled ‘Single Malt Komagatake Peated × Sherry’. The product is scheduled for release in early October 2026.

Produced at the Mars Komagatake Distillery in Miyata Village, Nagano Prefecture, the whisky focuses on the combination of peated malt and sherry casks. The expression is designed to offer a deep flavor profile, blending smoky peat aromas with dark fruit and cacao notes derived from the sherry aging.

The limited release consists of 12,000 bottles, each containing 700ml at 50% alcohol by volume. The packaging features the Japanese serow, a symbol of Nagano Prefecture, and utilizes a color palette intended to evoke the dawn.
