Honda and Peugeot launch updated hybrid models in Taiwan
New hybrid vehicle models from Honda and Peugeot are entering the market with a focus on efficiency and driving dynamics.
The Honda ZR-V e:HEV features a 2.0-liter Atkinson cycle engine paired with an electric motor, achieving an average fuel consumption of 20.4 km/L. Priced at 1.199 million TWD, the vehicle emphasizes a balance between fuel economy and driving pleasure, utilizing a refined chassis and a Bose sound system.
Peugeot has updated the 408 with an optimized P2 Hybrid system. The 1.2-liter hybrid powertrain delivers a combined 145 hp and an official fuel consumption of 21.0 km/L. The updated model features redesigned exterior lighting, including a new three-claw LED signature, and an improved interior with a 10-inch 3D digital instrument cluster and Focal Hi-Fi audio options. The software updates aim to make the energy regeneration process smoother and more natural for drivers.
