Honda and Suzuki vehicle modifications highlighted
Automotive enthusiasts are seeing new developments in high-performance vehicle modifications, ranging from digital concepts to professional tuning projects.
Tomiyoshi Racing, a workshop based in Kagoshima, Japan, has heavily modified a first-generation Honda NSX (NA1). The project transforms the original 3.0L V6 VTEC engine into a 3.2L unit featuring forged components, individual throttle bodies, a carbon airbox, and an Emtron KV8 ECU. The build incorporates the six-speed manual transmission, suspension, and braking systems from the NSX-R, alongside Volk Racing wheels and a carbon fiber aerodynamic kit including a large rear wing and roof intake.
In a separate creative exercise, digital renders have reimagined the Suzuki Jimny as a retro-inspired supercar. This concept transforms the compact off-roader into a lowered coupe with 1970s styling cues, such as wide fenders, a carbon fiber splitter, and a rear diffuser with quad exhausts. The imaginary build speculates on a 4.0L twin-turbo V8 engine to match its aggressive aesthetic.
