Honda Cars Philippines launches 2027 City and Civic models

Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. (HCPI) has launched the 2027 models of the Honda City, City Hatchback, and Civic RS e:HEV. The update represents a shift toward a more premium price positioning for the brand in the local market.

The 2027 Honda City features a refined design with new 16-inch alloy wheels, clear lens taillights, and a connected headlight profile. Interior upgrades include a larger 10-inch display audio system, updated seat trims, and rear USB Type C charging ports. While the City and City Hatchback retain their 1.5-liter DOHC i-VTEC engines paired with a CVT rather than adopting hybrid powertrains, Honda claims the combination offers fuel efficiency of up to 25 km/L.

Safety features remain a priority, with the Honda Sensing suite of advanced driver-assistance systems included as standard on most variants. The RS trims specifically offer additional features such as rain-sensing wipers, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, and a Honda LaneWatch camera.
