Honda celebrates 48 years in Argentina and 20 years of local production
Honda is celebrating 48 years of presence in Argentina and 20 years of local manufacturing. Since beginning domestic production in 2006 at its industrial complex in Campana, the company has manufactured over 1.7 million motorcycles and integrated more than 31 different models into its local production lines.
In March, the company expanded its industrial capacity by investing over USD 24 million to begin local production of ATVs, including the TRX420FM model designed for rural use. Additionally, in July, the company established Honda Plan Argentina, a subsidiary focused on providing savings plans for motorcycle purchases to offer more financing options to customers.
Beyond motorcycles and ATVs, Honda continues to commercialize automobiles, power products, and outboard motors through a network of 274 official dealerships across the country.
