Honda City prices drop in Vietnam amid new model rumors

Honda City prices in Vietnam have dropped significantly, with dealership prices ranging from 430 million to 499 million VND. This reduction of approximately 70 million VND compared to the listed price is seen as a clearance move ahead of a rumored upgraded version expected to launch in October.

In August, Honda Vietnam is supporting 100% of the registration fees for the City, which equates to roughly 50-56 million VND depending on the version. Combined with other dealer incentives, total discounts can reach 70 million VND. The Honda City G is currently priced at approximately 431 million VND, while the high-end RS version is offered at around 499 million VND.

Despite being at the end of its current lifecycle, the Honda City has seen a surge in sales. Monthly sales rose from 398 units in March to 1,034 units in July, marking the first time the model has exceeded 1,000 units in a month this year. This performance has allowed the City to lead the B-segment sedan market for two consecutive months, surpassing the Toyota Vios in July sales.
