Honda City updated version launched in Vietnam
Honda Vietnam has officially launched the updated Honda City sedan in the Vietnamese market. The new lineup consists of two versions, the L and the RS, replacing the previous three-version structure. Despite the upgrades, pricing remains unchanged, with the L version starting at 539 million VND and the RS version at 569 million VND (including VAT). Certain colors, such as Pearl White and Red, carry an additional premium of 8 million VND.
Key exterior enhancements include a redesigned front grille, bumpers, and logo placement. The L version has been upgraded from halogen to LED headlights, while both versions feature a new lens-based lighting mechanism. The RS version emphasizes a sportier aesthetic with blacked-out door handles, rims, and redesigned taillights. The overall length of the vehicle has increased by 5 mm.
Interior updates focus on technology and convenience. The RS version now features a larger 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system supporting wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Both versions have been equipped with USB Type-C ports. The RS model also retains the Honda CONNECT system, allowing owners to monitor vehicle status, locate the car, and control the engine or air conditioning via a smartphone application. The vehicles continue to be assembled locally in Vietnam and are expected to be available at dealerships starting October 14, 2026.
