Honda community members convoy through Jakarta historical sites

Approximately 70 members of the Honda motorcycle community, organized under the Asosiasi Honda Jakarta (AHJ), participated in the ‘Honda Community Convoy Merdeka 2026’ in Jakarta on Sunday, August 16, 2026.

Supported by PT Wahana Makmur Sejati (WMS), the event utilized the theme ‘Meng45pal Kemerdekaan’ to encourage participants to reflect on Indonesian independence through a journey to various historical landmarks. The convoy route began at Wahana Gunung Sahari and included seven stops: Tugu Proklamasi, Monumen Nasional, Gedung Joang 45, Taman Surapati, Bento Kopi, Setu Babakan, and Yonzikon 13, concluding at Honda Kawi Motor in Jagakarsa.

In addition to historical education and community bonding, the event emphasized road safety through the #Cari_Aman spirit, encouraging riders to follow traffic regulations and maintain safe distances. Andra Friandana, Division Head of Marketing Planning & Analyst at PT Wahana Makmur Sejati, stated that the activity serves as a way to strengthen brotherhood while remembering the nation's struggle and history.
