Honda Korea completes motorcycle beginner training program
Honda Korea has successfully completed its ‘Honda Welcome Class’, a riding experience event designed for motorcycle beginners. Held at the Honda Education Center in Icheon, Gyeonggi Province, the program was part of the company’s ‘Start with Honda’ brand campaign.
The event saw high interest, with over 1,000 applicants competing for 12 spots, resulting in a 100:1 selection ratio. Participants received one hour of theoretical instruction and three hours of practical training. The sessions were divided into two categories based on skill levels: a scooter class using the Honda Vision and PCX models, and a Super Cub class focusing on automatic centrifugal gear shifting and basic riding techniques.
In addition to the training, Honda showcased its ‘Small Fun’ lineup of motorcycles under 125cc. Participants were provided with commemorative goods, and those who purchase a motorcycle of 125cc or less within one month of completing the course are eligible for special discounts.
