Honda launches 2027 City lineup in Brazil with new RS version

Honda has unveiled the 2027 City lineup in Brazil, introducing a new RS version exclusive to the hatchback body style. This new configuration sits at the top of the model range, surpassing the Touring version.

The 2027 models feature updated designs for both the hatchback and sedan, along with a new 10-inch multimedia center. However, the mechanical components remain unchanged, utilizing the 1.5-liter aspirated engine producing 126 cv and a CVT automatic transmission.

A promotional pre-sale of 3,000 units begins this Saturday, maintaining 2026 pricing levels. Prices range from R$ 117,500 for the entry-level LX to R$ 156,400 for the new RS. Following the promotional period, prices for the LX version will increase by R$ 200, while other versions will see a R$ 1,100 increase.

Regarding market competition from lower-priced Chinese brands, Honda executives stated they do not intend to engage in price wars, instead focusing on high after-sales satisfaction and the value of pre-owned Honda vehicles.
