Honda launches 2027 NXR160 Bros with new safety features
Honda has launched the 2027 NXR160 Bros line in Brazil, featuring several safety and visibility upgrades. The new model includes LED turn signals, a hazard light system, and integrated position lights. The top-tier ABS version introduces the Emergency Stop Signal (ESS) system, which automatically activates turn signals during emergency braking to alert following drivers.
The NXR160 Bros maintains its 162.7cc air-cooled, single-cylinder engine with flex-fuel technology, producing 14.3 hp with ethanol. The updated lineup offers new color options, including red for both versions, purple for the CBS model, and green for the ABS model.
In the broader Brazilian motorcycle market, Honda continues to dominate sales rankings. As of late September 2026, the Honda CG 160 leads the market with 39,887 units sold, followed by the Honda Pop 110i and Honda Biz. The NXR160 model also maintains a strong position, ranking fourth with 13,980 units sold during the period.
