Honda launches ADV160 flex-fuel scooter in India
Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has launched the ADV160 in India, priced at ₹1.70 lakh (ex-showroom, Bengaluru). The model is notable as the country’s first scooter capable of running on E85 flex-fuel, which contains up to 85 percent ethanol.
Utilizing Honda’s FlexTech technology, the engine management system automatically adjusts to various ethanol-petrol blends. The ADV160 features a 156.93cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine producing 16 bhp and 14.7 Nm of torque. Key specifications include a 133 kg kerb weight, 27 litres of under-seat storage, and a 165 mm ground clearance.
Other features include a TFT instrument cluster with Honda RoadSync, turn-by-turn navigation, Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC), and single-channel ABS. Bookings are currently open via Honda’s website and dealerships, with customer deliveries expected to begin in mid-October 2026.
