Honda launches XL750 Transalp adventure bike in Argentina with E‑Clutch option

Honda Motor Co. introduced the XL750 Transalp, a mid‑displacement adventure motorcycle, to the Argentine market. The bike is offered in two trims: the MT version at USD 17,500 and the E‑Clutch version at USD 18,000. Both models feature a 755 cc parallel‑twin engine delivering 67.5 kW (91.8 hp) at 9,500 rpm and 75 Nm of torque at 7,250 rpm, paired with a six‑speed gearbox; the E‑Clutch trim adds Honda’s electronic automatic clutch system.

The XL750 Transalp weighs 210 kg (MT) or 216 kg (E‑Clutch) and includes Showa inverted front fork, Pro‑Link rear shock, 21‑inch front and 18‑inch rear wheels, dual 310 mm front discs with Nissin calipers, a single 256 mm rear disc, and dual‑channel ABS. Fuel capacity is 16.9 L. The motorcycle competes directly with Yamaha’s Ténéré 700, Suzuki’s V‑Strom 800 and Aprilia’s Tuareg 660 in the growing adventure‑segment market. Production takes place in Japan, and the model marks a revival of Honda’s Transalp line after a 2023 redesign that switched from a V‑twin to a compact inline configuration.
