Honda launches XR300L and XR300 Rally adventure bikes in India
Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India has launched two new adventure motorcycles in the Indian market: the XR300L and the XR300 Rally. The XR300L is priced at ₹1.83 lakh (ex-showroom), while the XR300 Rally is priced at ₹2.08 lakh (ex-showroom).
Both models are built on the same platform and feature a 286cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine producing approximately 24.3 bhp and 26.5 Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed gearbox. They are equipped with upside-down front forks, a rear monoshock, spoke wheels, and all-terrain tyres to handle both paved roads and off-road surfaces.
The motorcycles are designed for different riding priorities. The XR300L is positioned as a dual-sport option focused on off-road riding and dirt tracks. The XR300 Rally is geared toward highway touring, featuring a taller windscreen, larger fuel tank, knuckle guards, and a 5-inch TFT display for improved wind protection and comfort.
In the Indian market, these models will compete with several other adventure motorcycles, including the Hero Xpulse 210, KTM 250 Adventure, Suzuki V-Strom SX, and the Royal Enfield Himalayan.
