Honda Motor de Argentina launches motorcycle savings plan
Honda Motor de Argentina has launched ‘Honda Plan de Ahorro’, a new savings-based installment system designed to help customers plan the purchase of motorcycles. The program will be rolled out progressively across the company’s official dealership network in Argentina, with the goal of reaching full national coverage by the end of the year.
The savings plans offer up to 60 monthly installments in pesos, allowing participants to access up to 100% of the motorcycle's value. Participants join groups of 120 people with identical purchase goals, making monthly contributions based on the mobile value of the motorcycle. Monthly adjudications will occur via lottery or early installment bidding.
Initial models available under the plan include the Honda Wave 110S, Honda GLH150, Honda XR150L, and the newly relaunched Honda Biz 110. The relaunch of the Biz, a CUB segment model, coincides with a period of significant growth in the Argentine motorcycle market. Alejandro Modica, Commercial Manager of the Motorcycle Division, noted that the market has doubled in just two years, with industry expectations reaching approximately 900,000 units this year.
